I-140 is approved, I-485 > 180 days.

a)Imagine I accept job with company B, similar occupation.
Then for whatever reason my new job doesn't work out, I end up doing long term contracting work, 40h/week.
Does USCIS demands that is a permanent employment in order to approve I-485 ? If so, that's a risky business moving to a new job...

b) Do you know if you leave your job with original company in a good standing, normally employers/lawyers tend to attempt a I-140 withdrawal ?
If not, I would not even send the AC21 letter and expect approval of I-485.

---------yes

------------- depends on employer
If not, I would not even send the AC21 letter and expect approval of I-485.
----------- do you want I-485 to be approved for the employer who filed I-140 or attached letter of future permanent job offer at the time of filing I-485 by not sending AC21?

Thanks Ginnu.
THis is immigration process is outrageous. With all these restrictions, normally someone would tend to stick with original employer then, even if somewhat unhappy. Unless there is a situation untolerable, I would not switch my job.
