Female applicants get IL faster than male?

Reading quite a lot of cases posted here, I found a interesting phenomenon that if a couple apply at the same time, the wife gets IL faster than the husband. Am I right?

My wife got her passport and I am still stuck at the name check.

that is because there are not many female names who are plotting against the US government or are into some problems with the law...

Not really. I think what you're seeing is more people posting here because they have problems of one sort or another. A great many cases are processed without any information ever being posted.

My own experience was that my N-400 paralleled my wife's N-400 step by step right through the interviews themselves. We were seen by different IO's within a couple of hours of each other, and our cases were both recommended for approval. My oath took place a few weeks later, but my wife had to wait an additional month or so for hers.

Generally true but not always. One of my friend (female) waited for almost 4 years to clear her name check at I-485 stage (since 2004).

While I doubt that the USCIS or FBI process the female applicants first,
I don't mind if the ladies are on top. :D

no i don't think FBI or USCIS gives females priority, but historically less females are criminals, so I assume FBI has a shorter list of female terrorists names or fingerprints to compare to. I'd also say younger people should be at advantage for same reason.

but it's all just a guess after all, USCIS does it's slow business without considering any guesses, predictions or laws of nature.
