Feel like USCIS is dangling a carrot in my face...

Hi -

With so many approvals with the RD of January '03, I cannot help but feel as though USCIS is dangling a carrot in front of me. It's like they put this delicious cake in front of me after being starved for nearly two years and tells me there is no fork for me and I have to wait...HOW FRUSTRATING!!!

I can understand your pain..
But we got to wait till our date match with NSC processing dates.
They are working fast buddy...

If I didn't have a fork, I would stick my face into the cake but with USCIS, it is like your hands are tied and mouth is taped :mad:

Oh gosh, I feel even worse, nsc121901! I feel so bad that you have been waiting for such a long time while RD of 9/03 is being approved. This is exactly what is wrong with USCIS.

Thanks for the support, guys. I just had to vent since I cannot understand the adjudication logics used by USCIS. It may be that it involves a high degree of mathematics that I am not following...

Japanese, I just wonder how come the congress and the senior management at USCIS are so dumb that they don't look into such an important matter. These kind of discrepancies are very uncommon in West, you would think.

I wish I can laugh at your joke... But this matter is too serious and mindboggling to poke fun at, however it is true that they use some stupid algorithm that picks the cases at random. I
 
I think in NSC everybody stuck in name check etc..

but in other center they are moving pretty fast....

is it really name check and other stuff are really dealying process or something else...
 
I dont think name check is causing delay. My name check was completed in Jan 03 but they approved my case yesterday.

I wish I had the answer for you. But a lot of guys these days are getting their cards in a couple of weeks. But then there are people waiting for several months. As already mentioned, things are very random with this agency.

Srireddy, You don't have to laugh at my Joke. I didn't even expect anyone to laugh. I had to make a remark at the agency and I decided to make it with a humor. It was not a joke in anyway.
 
Hey Japanese why are you baffled so much ??, i guess there are not many Jan'03 filers whose application is approved, although i am of the opinion that they are approving applications which were filed on or after Mar'03, so take it easy dude for now, Keep waiting
 
Just wait for awhile or focus on other things in life. Your hunger will just dissipate and that carrot won't bother your anymore. At least that's what happened to me. A year ago my hopes were raised, but I went back to focussing on bigger issues facing my life at the moment. :)

Thanks for your kind words, frodo. This really made me realize the importance of the conversation I had with Rsur earlier. Indeed, he really helped me open my eyes to so many important things in one's life besides GC. I was starting to forget these "important" things and am glad you gave me a wake up call...

Good to hear from you. I have seen so many carrots during the various stages that it does not tempt me anymore. Let us hope that we will be liberated in early '05.

On a positive note atleast we are further up in the process.
