hi,

i have a question: is the fee for children under 6 as same as adults ( 775$)?

Yes, unfortunately, the fee for children is the same.
Other countries charge a lower fee for children, but not US.
 
Why should the fee for kids be any different? It is not the same as a free airfare for a lap-kid under two year old. A kid with a PR status and a SSN has the same weight as your adult spouse on the 1040 form for the purpose of increasing the total numbers of exemptions you claim. So don't worry, you'll get this money back in one (or a few) tax years.
