Federal Plaza Stamping..any advice on when to get there?

Anyone recently (ie. post Sep 11th) stamped at Federal Plaza? Should I get there (really) early or should I wait till later? I work downtown and the dust is pretty bad some days round Wall Street. Can\'t imagine its any better closer to Federal Plaza. Any advice would be welcomed.

arrived between 6:30 to 6:45 am

and was the 20th on line. after 7 am, the line was so long that the end was already on worth street. grab a cup of coffee before lining up in case it\'s cold.

My passport was stamped on 10/02. I reached around 6:45 and there were 10 people ahead of me. I was out by 8:30 and could go to work. Paid $6:95 for parking next to Federal plaza :-(
