Guys,

I read an article (www.shusterman.com), INS will be closing by the end of this month and evolve with a nw name BCIS which will be reporting to the head of Homeland security division.. Is it going to affect any of our processing?...

Any thoughts??

Medical Checkup
My lawyer told me that it was not needed at this time - I intend to do concurrent filing of 140 and 485. Please advice if this will delay my process in some manner.

In contrary, my solicitor said as it's a concurrent filing, INS needs everything filed together it seems, meaning Medicals as well.. Again my Solicitor might be wrong. Just do a double check..

Yes! You need to file medical I693 forms
together with you application. I just mailed I140/I485/I765 together with I693 0n 2/25/03. You
can get list of approved doctors from this web site. http://www.immigration.com/dr
It would take about two to three days to get the results.

Thanks for your response. that's right I did apply with the Medicals, otherwise I could have sent my application in the first week of Jan, I am in Portland, OR, it took a while for me to get an appointment date.
