Febraury 07 visa dates

So does that mean we are also done for the rest of the year?? I am talking about EB3 category.
No. Voldemarv was talking about one-time quota of 50,000 for schedule A, which has been exhausted. This does not imply in anyway whether EB3 is exhausted or not. If fact, it's not exhausted because then all categories will be "U".

Areee Gravitation bhai ( or Behan) ... what is this schedule A? . And what are the repurcussions for EB2 chaps?

Anyway I am bit pessimistic today due to no change in EB2 category this month ( .. again!).

How can a visa number be assigned if the PD is not current

Gramchai,
After posting this news about my friend's approval. I spoke to him again and His attorney. Who has informed him that Cutoff date is established based on number of cases ready to be approved around that date. And as the diffrence between May8th and June 22 is about 6 weeks they have moved ahead to approve his case as all his checks like name, background and finger prints were ready. I think his case was just waiting for a visa number which luckly was the case for him. In past also there were few folk on this forum who got approved with dates in and around 1 week time frame from the cutoff date. So i hope Once again they move it to July 2001 and soon engouh to Sep 2002. ;)

Well, the PD for eb3 India is still 8-May-01 for Feb 2007. Did your friend get GC approved or is it pre-approved? His PD is not yet current.

How can a visa number be assigned if the PD is not current?

It's a bhai here. Schedule A refers to "H1A" visa, which is for nurses only.
No repercussions for EB2 due to Schedule A.
