Define "touch". Is there any USCIS status called "we touched your application" or something like that?
 
create your account at bcis status check site and add your cases to see when your case was touched due to internal processing.
 
Assuming, you are talking of the touch dates in your BCIS profile,

Its 04/08/04 for both me & spouse.

Seems everybody's case so far has been "touched" on the same date.

But the status says : On February 7, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review .... I guess the Last updated means USCIS dumped the files back on 10th :eek:

Hmmm, interesting! Is USCIS going really little bit of hitech? If your appication is waiting for approval for 3 years, from the online USCIS status update probably you will get the status update of following MAJOR milestones.

Touch 1: your application has been accepted and we RESUMED processing
Touch 2: your FP result received and we RESUMED processing
Touch 3: we sent letter for farther evidence (RFE).....blah blah
Touch 4: We received RFE response and RESUMED processing
Touch 5: your FP (2nd) FP result received and we RESUMED processing
Touch 6: Your application approved.


I don't think it's going to provide any information of internal "touch" - informations like some clerk took it out from shelves, removed the dusts.
 
thats what we are tryingto find out if there's a big lot touched at same date , or was ordered to bring back or put on shelf. there some ppl with 04/07 dates whose cases are early feb 2002 . so its possible the are doing or planning to do something .
 
Guys,
USCIS started or set up the email notice service in early of this month. The dates, April 7th or 8th are meaningless, they just implied those cases integreted into this servive system.
Well, just my 2 cents.
 
What do you mean by touch date? Is it the date when my processing is resumed or the date on which the entered this data online. My message says FP results recvd and processing resumed on Jan 6th 2004.

I think -
The date you see online in your profile, is the date some guy entered the status online. This does not mean, IIO touched it. It could be some people who are maintaining the database to make it available online for the people who register at their site.

The date is see is 04/08/04. But my status did not change ON, BEFORE or AFTER 04/08/04. Atleast not as yet!
 
no these dates varries for ppl to ppl there are some cases where it is more then one to 2 yr old. Like my EAD was filed on 16th march and 1st touch date was 23rd march then it changed yesterday and changed again today. And i know CSC time line to touch 765 cases ,so it is possible my case is under process. thats why i was trying to find out about 485 cases whats happeneing with FEb onwards filers .

Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.
 
my wac02116 has been last time updated on 02/06/2004
my wife's on 02/21/2002 (when it was filed) :(

what's going on?
 
My wife: WAC-02-107 - Last Updated 02/03/2004 (nothing special - just after 2nd FP done on 01/26/04).
 
Myself: EB2: wac-02-126: last touch on 07/19/2002
Wife: wac-02-126: last touch on 07/19/2002
Kid: wac-02-126: last touch on 03/04/2002

Anyone else forgotten/forsaken by USCIS?
 
My Touch Dates

My BCIS online shows that the last updated is 04/27/2004. I saw the same y'day with 04/26/2004. We sent the response for RFE and BCIS received them on 04/22/2004.

For primary WAC-02-055 - Touched 04/27/2004 / 04/26/2004
For Derivative WAC-02-055 - Touched 04/27/2004 / 04/26/2004

Dont know if they are working on our cases.

don't worry, whatDidIDo? my last updated date is 23-JUL-2002. so i am also a forsaken one :)

the last activity on my I-485 was my 1st FP on 27-MAR-2002. so i'm not sure what happened in july... seems rather random.
