Feb'02 Approvals Started

Hi friends,
Today is a very good day because we started seeing reliable first hand approval for RD of Feb'02. We also saw one posting yesterday who said that his friend (with Feb'02 RD) is approved.
And we have another approval posted on rupnet (userid Boston..)
and we saw some one posting that he got an RFE today. So i would assume that we are going to see continuous approvals for Feb'02 RD from now onwards.
 
Even I noticed those February approvals. I wish if we hear the same from VSC(processing report).
 
Per my observation every time BCIS moved the date , all cases less than the official processing dates have got delayed like OCT-NOV-DEC.

Does this mean BCIS will now move the date to FEb-03 and all Jan-03 applicants will get added to the OCT-NOV-DEC backlog.

only god knows what's happening at BCIS......

Sorry but I would have to disagree with you that today is a very good day... Think about what's happening to Oct/Nov/Dec filers and soon to Jan filers. Do you really think it's a good thing to see Feb approvals despite the fact there are still so many Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan cases left without being touched? Yes, it is good to those who get approved but definitely getting worse to those whose date has passed and still waiting... more and more filers are falling to the latter category... the overall situation is getting worse and worse :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
Frankly, i have no clue why BCIS is acting so crazily , moving to next month without acting on the backlogs. I only represent the feelings of people who are looking for BCIS to move to the next month. Try your best to find out why it is still hanging. Beyond that there is nothing we can do.
 
If you're Feb Rd, you probably happy that they move to your month. But it's not like you'll be approved soon. Only a small fraction of ppl will get approved, that's solely luck, others will be deserts just like Oct/Nov/Dec waiters. Jan probably will join the waiters soon.
 
The delays could partially be because of security check. A name match so they are digging more. Just a guess.

Even then it should not take so much time.
 
I saw a couple of approvals in 02-203-54*** series today. Does it mean that March has started too?
 
I hope that Rajeev Khanna's petition will have some positive impact on reducing the backlogs. Otherwise we should pressurise AILA to question BCIS why they are processing Feb'02 cases when thousands of Oct, Nov and Dec'01 cases are pending.
The reason for the backlog is either of the following two :
1) BCIS has no proper system to track when they get the background check information for a pending case.
2) Background check is causing huge delay for some cases.
 
something is better than nothing .:) ..at least its not stuck..

but I will hate to be one of the leftbehind guys like the fellas still waiting from /OCT/NOV/DEC .My best wishes for them.
