I am a pseudo-silent visitor on this site. I had posted some questions lately as my EAD was expiring and had not received the extension and it was not 90 days since application.

Today, to my profound surprise, both mine and my wife's case has been approved bring us closer to a closure on this ardrous journey. Just hang in there and all of you waiting will be able to share your happiness just like me. My hands are really shaking while typing this as I know how the frustration gets to you when you are waiting.

I would like to thanks the makers of this site and the contributors to this site due to which I was able to pull this long. Everyday, I used to visit and see how so many people are suffering in this bottomless laybrinth.

Finally our details are:
ND : Feb 05, 2002
RD : Feb 25, 2002
FP1: May 06, 2002
FP2: Sep 24, 2003
EAD1, EAD2 Expired
EAD3: Maybe it will get approved in a couple of months! But who cares at this point.
AD : Apr 15, 2004

Thank you to everyone for all the moral support and one thing - JUST HANG IN THERE AND GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. HAVE FAITH.

PS: I have updated Rupnet with my approval date.

Update

Sorry Folks,

I forgot to mention that I contacted Senator Lautenberg of NJ 3 weeks ago and they contacted the VSC (apparently) and came back with a reply that our cases have been assigned to an adjudicator and we should be hearing from them(VSC) within 60days. I dismissed this as a standard VSC reply and didn't put too much attention to it. Looks like it might have worked or it might be the case of co-incidence that when my case was picked up by VSC, I managed to call the senator's office. Either way at least they made an attempt to find the status of our application. That reminds me, I need to call them and let them know about the approval.
