Feb 140 Approved after 200 days

LC-I140-I485

New Member
I am a silent observer in this forum. Just wanted all frustrated I-140 waiters to know that my I-140 petition filed on Jan 28th was approved on Sept 3rd. Details as follows

EB3-I140 Labor Substitute ( with I-140 earlier approved for someone else)
RD(i.e MD) Jan 28th
ND (i.e RD in the AVM) Feb 4th
AD (As per the AVM, not yet recd papers) Sept 3rd
RFE Recd : None

Other interesting details:
I-485 Concurrently filed on Aug 2nd and received the EAD and FingerPrint notice within 2 weeks ( before the I140 was approved ! or the receipts for 485 was received)

AVM would keep saying 90-180 days and on calling the IIO was told that the message has not been updated and it can take as much as 24o days or even higher !

INS works in mysterious ways. So have patience ;)

congrats

Congrats on getting EAD and I 140.
I filed my I 140 on August 28th and the receipt date is September 4th for a Labor subtitute EB-3 RIR case in VSC.
I've got the receipt notice today and would be filing I 485 /EAD in two weeks time.
My question to you is :
Since you were a Labour substitute case and u applied for 485 + EAD prior to getting your I 140 approval,
What documents did u send to INS along with the usual I 485 forms/birth certificates/ paystubs/?
Did u also send the documents which u sent for I 140 ( the LC/work exp certificates/degree certificates/letter stating the alien is to substituted with the approved LC alien)
I would really appreciate it if you could share this info with me.
Another quick question did u file u'r EAD from Vermont ?
Thanks in advance

Re: congrats

(a) Sent all the documents needed for 485 along with the receipt notice for I-140 ( I think its called form 765). the list include birth certificate, marriage cert etc., medical evaluation , 2 latest paystubs etc. The list can be obtained from any website such as immihelp.com
(b) The EAD and 485 were filed from VSC
