Feb 14 '02 Case approved on 04/15 after contacting senator.

Contacted NC senator on 3/31. They contacted VSC and got the reply on 04/05 that the case will be reviewd in 30 days and call back after 30 days.

The case is approved on 04/15.

RD - 02/14/2002
RFE - 10/08/2003 (Medical, Pay stubs. VSC received)
FP2 - 12/16/2003
AD - 04/15/2004

Do you think contacting the Senator did anything, your case was due to be processed anyway right? Your Nd is Feb 2002 and they are processing Feb 2002.
 
Hello joyd,

It is true that VSC is processing 02/15 cases and my RD is 02/14. But look at other cases which were filed in 11/01, 12/01 and 01/02... are still waiting for approval.

I firmly believe that the status enquiry from Senator's office triggered the approval of my case.
