Feb 01 RFE case approved today per AVM

Just checked AVM and heard the megic words. Both my and my spouse\'s case got approved today.

Detail: PD 09/99, RIR, EB2, I-140 AOS, RD and ND 02/01, FP 06/01, RFE generared on Jan 14, 2002 for status paper (I-120, previous H1B, etc.). INS recieved RFE on Feb 6 and case got approved today.

I am willing to answer any question if it will be helpful.

why they were asking for H-1 document, didn\'t you already submit
them when you filed 485?

Congrats! When did you reply to the RFE? Did the AVM message changed immediately to "received the response"?

I do think my attorney submitted my previous H-1B while filing I-485. Although I did give them all my status papers during my current H-1b, labor certificate and I-140 application. But clearly they did not ask me for those old paper when filing I-485. That\'s why the RFE got generated.

INS got the RFE letter in their mail room on Feb 4 (I have FedEx tracking record) and the AVM was updated on Feb 6 with that recieve date and it was "... recieved the response....". It took 7 days to get approved.

My question... after your RFE was accepted did the AVM have
the sentence " blah...blah.... However since preliminary processing
was completed prior to..... etc.."

Just trying to develop a pattern..
