FBI told me they did not receive my FP after I did it 2 months ago.

did my FP on March 2nd. and FBI told me they did not receive my FP.
I go to INS branch where I did my FP to ask, they told me they sent it.
When I asked to do FP again,they told me to I have to ask INS to give them another letter first.
Anyone here can tell me how to ask INS to sent this letter??

It might have been sent to INS already.

    I think FBI checks your FP the same day it is sent from support
    center.
    Most probably the information about your FP might have
    dropped off from FBI system.
    It happened to me also, FBI said they haven\'t received the
    FP but a lady checked the system based on my last name and was
    able to find info about it.

    I would suggest you to call Service Center and talk to an IIO and
    ask whether they have received the FP and is it OK?.Also you can
    check the AVM at 949-831-8427.Try in the night.
