FBI Pending, Already had an interview but got 2nd interview notice????

Hi all,

I already had an interview at Santa Ana, CA and the lady told me that I am approving you case from my end but still the FBI background check is remaining so your case is pending.

I got a new job in Chicago and told the lady at Santa Ana, CA to change the address on my file and send the file to Chicago DO. I had even see on www.uscis.gov that "Interview has conducted. Case under review" for my case.

Today, I got a letter from Chicago DO that you have an interview for your I 485, so can anyone tell me is it a good sign or they still not convinced from my last interview?

The chicago office wil interview you again. They did the same to me when I moved from saint louis. however they had not even looked at the file in chicaog before the interview date. basically nothing will not even ask you anything. we just chatted and cursed the name check process and agreed that her room was warm and they should provide windows that can be opened in her room. very nice lady we had- very easy going
 
I moved from Loas Angeles to Houston this year and the Houston DO told me I may need to have another interview as it has been two years since my first one. I dion't think the second interview necessarily tells you anything about whether the namecheck is progressing. However it does tell you that the new office actually has the file and knows about your case which is good.

I think that there is no positive sign that they might call you to get the passport stamped.

I have already submitted all the pictures, lease, joint accounts, new employer letters,.. everything.... And in this letter they asked everything one more time.

I dont know what to do now.. I think it is better to focus on name check process and contact a senator or congressman here as a good start. If nothing will happen then will do some of the things like WOM or letter to FBI...

Tanghoi, if you are from Chicago and you are also stuck in name check then lets do the effort together to get it cleared from FBI..
