I just returned to work after my 2nd FP. So you got the FBI number. Good. Did you call them what happened??

I called FBI. They said that both my and my wife's FP was sent back to USCIS on the same day our FP was done (08/16/02).
Today, I checked the status. My status is unchanged. But, my wife's status says "On 09 July, 2003 we receined the FP ...". Recently, I applied for the 3rd EAD renewal for my wife and it has been approved yesterday. I think that triggered her status change. I will wait to see what her EAD card now says for FP availability.
Anyway, I called the USCIS 800 number. The lady just reported the same stuff "NSC is currently processing Sept 2001...". I asked specifically about the FP and why the status has not been updated and what does that mean? She said that even though the status does not say any thing about FP receipt, every thing is fine with FP. Otherwise, I would have got some info (If the FP were bad). I also asked her about the discrepancy in the status messages for me and my wife even though we had the FP on same day. She said not to worry about FP. But would not tell any thing about the 2nd FP etc.

As long as you got the info that the USCIS database is updated with your FP, thats fine, what else can you do.
