I think Panic is good. Lets say you are on a vacation to Europe for a month and are checking your online status..but BIO was sent to you without an update in Online status...and if you don't know they sent you..you miss your appointment...Your application is Abandoned....
GC will come when it will come is good but you also need to stay on top of things because you are responsible for your application not the USCIS. IF they miss something, its your responsiblity to let them know not the other way around..
A 2001 applicant getting approved before 2000 applicant also makes YOUR responsiblity to FIND OUT WHY. Were the medicals not signed? did i fill the bio correctly? Did they get my BIographics?...1 million things go in..
If you searched the board, the reality is that YOU CAN DO THINGS. IF you sit on your butt thinking that oh-what-the-hell-i-will-get-my-gc-soon then you will miss the boat...IF you "LET" USCIS mistreat you, they will!
