FBI name check

My PD is Jun 2002, EB2 category (India). Before retrogression my lawyer found out that my file is stuck with USCIS due to name check not cleared by FBI. Looking at the trend in visa numbers becoming available for EB2 for India over the last three months, PD of Jun 2002 might become current in 4 to 5 months, I hope. If it does become current, what are the chances that my name check will be cleared by the FBI at that time? Can the USCIS move on without adjudicating my file?
Is there a procedure for checking the status of name check with the FBI? Please advice,

yes the uscis will move on to other cases till your name check is done..infact uscis does not follow a strict fifo....
