FBI Name Check done, now comes the CIA Check

My FBI name check was finally clearer after 2 years of wait, but I read somewhere there also is a CIA check needed for I485 cases. Anyone knows how to find out whether CIA has cleared you or not?

How do you know that your name check is cleared. Do you get any information from them. My second question is does all need to have the name check clearance.

send an email to FBINNCP.Email@ic.fbi.gov
and state all of your info: Name, A#, SSN, etc
I just recently got reply from FBI for the inquiry email I sent last Nov.

I read that you were stuck in the FBI Name Check for 2 years. I am stuck for long time too. Wanted to know how you got FBI to move on your case (did you write a letter to Senator/Congressman or directly to FBI).

I followed the instructions from one of the threads (search for "Rahul Kumar", he provided a wealth of information and instructions on this topic). Requested for FOIP, wrote to senator/congressman, wrote inquiry email and wrote to FBI, don't know which one worked but my FBI check was cleared last month after 2 years of waiting.
