Faxes to Congressman and Senators. Any Problem ????

I am new to this forum. I have heard from many people who have I-485 filed that they are reluctant to send faxes to Congressman and Senators, asking them to help them clear I-485. They think it will have negative impact on their cases in USCIS. I have asked my lawyer and he is also of same opinion. I am planning to send faxes to Senators and Congressman. How worst it could affect my I-485 process for sending faxes to Senators and Congressman.

Please shed some light on this topic. This will help many more volunteers to come forward once they have insight to this issue.

This is news to me, if you search the forums you will see multitudes of posts THANKING Senators and Congressmen for getting them their approvals.

USCIS CANNOT penalize you for political action, it is your right to request a representative to help you with govt. agencies.
 
You seem to have a wrong information.

I am glad I faxed a few times to the senators and congressmen. They represent the people.
