To influence Republican and Democrat House of Representatives, we all should FAX our petition to House Policy Committee and House Immigration Sub-committee. Last few months we were contacting local Congressional offices. So now let us all focus on Congressional leadership offices.If they see lot of petitions regarding the same issue then there is fair enough chance that our petition will be considered and they might act immediately to reduce immigration benefits backlog and to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) for Naturalization requirements. So, Please FAX the petition immediately.

This is where we should have started instead of contacting each individual Congressman/woman. Anyway it's not too late, let us contact House policy committee and House Immigration Sub-committee to gather support for our requests.
 
I faxed the petition with cover letter to House Policy committee and Immigration sub-committee(both Republican and Democrats) on 11/07/2003.

How do I fax using free service

I know how to - I have registered - got username/password etc.
My question is Do I have to cut and paste from Congress_Petition.pdf ? If I do cut and paste, then the text does not looks good. It seems to be all messy.. could you pls help.

Save as text then, the use the text file. I don't have text file right now. I'll post it today evening.
 
I guess I have joined this discussion very late. I really appreciate the people like Edison who are make an effort to collect all the information and trying their best to speed up the lousy USINS. I would suggest to even contact directly people like Bob Schafer (Face the Nation) and Tim Russett (Meet the Press). They conduct the shows on sundays. What do you all say.

I know you guys might have already thought about this..
how about going to Media like MSNBC or FOX ? We will tell our story and ask for few min that will give more importance to the issue.
Any comments?
