Fax Inquiry if FP is going to lapse???

Can we send a fax inquiry for 485 if FP is going to lapse within 90 days ... FP is valid for 15 months from the date it was done????
 
Yes you can, but honestly speaking don't be too hopeful of INS doing anything about this. There are way too many expiring FPs, there is no way INS will approve each one of them, or even give them a priority, 99.999% they'll send another FP notice (problem solved, ur fp is not gonna expire now right?).

Silly Man my FP was done on Jan 23rd....So I was thinking whether to ask my lawyer to send a fax inquiry now or send a fax inquiry after 1-2 months...
 
90 days from when INS received ur FP from FBI .. If u send before, ur wasting a fax opportunity.
 
FP expiring in 90 days

I also intend to fax a inquiry about expiring FP. Could someone let me know what fax number I should use. Should I or my lawyer send it? What format is the letter? I will ask my lawyer tomorrow for more comments and I will let you guys know.
Pls give me as many suggestion as possible
 
I spoke to my lawyer and he said he'll send a fax inquiry tomorrow.

FD 01/25/02 so, it'll be 12 months this week, exactly another 90 days from then.

1. What is the fax number for an inquiry?

2. Is there a format for inquiry or just a simple letter is good enough?
 
I asked the IIO about expiring FP. She gave me the officer number who has my case, as well as his fax number. (TSC)
