Father-in-law VISA Process

My father-in-law got his pasport last week and I'm planning schedule a appointment next month. My mother in law got her 10 years visa in 2002 and visited us 3 times and she went back promptly without any extensions. My fil owns agriculture farm and he has 3 kids (2 daughters and 1 son). First daughter is married and his son also married and living in india, I got married to the second daughter in 1998. My question is that if the interview officer asks why he is planning to visit US after a long time what should be the answer?
