Fast I-140 approval=fast I-485 approval???

Hello,
Has anyone had the experience of getting the I-140 and EAD approved within a couple of weeks of filing. My case is fresh - September 2005. My approval notices came just one day after I received the receipt notices. I could not believe my eyes. My country is from Western Europe and has visa numbers currently available and has always been available, and my case is EB2. Can these incredibly speedy approvals mean that my I-485 also can be approved in a pretty quickly? Any experiences to share in terms of the correlation between really, really fast I-140 approvals the I-485 approval timeline? I have no issues regarding my past while in the US that the USCIS could get me on.

don't know fast approval of I-140 equals to fast approval of I-485. Of course feel extremely lucky if you have it approved with that kind of speed, hopefully before Oct. 1 05

I am filed for 485 in Jan 05, EB2 (India). I had applied for 1140 on Oce 25, 2004 and on Nov 9 i received an approval notice. I ot FP done in March and had an LUD on Apr 22, FP is also cleared and i dont know if Name check is done or not. Will my 485 be cleared before Oct 1st??? God knows....

After LC, 140 approval is pretty fast now a days. This is not unusal. The back log is in 485. As you are from W.EU, your case may get approved pretty quiclky. Afterall you are not from another world.
