If you dial this number during the day u will find it busy and may
get through after redialling many many times.
Once you are through press 1 for english and then press 0 to talk to
IIO (immigration information officer)
But to access the AVM it is better to dial at night when the system is
not so busy - After 10 pm you will get in easily and
you have to enter the case number which is generally
WAC-01-XXX-XXXXX Please substitute 922 to replace WAC and enter the case number
this case number is found on the receipt notice (I hope you have a copy of the receipt) In case you do not have a copy of the receipt please call IIO and if you have been finger printed you will have the A number which is found on the fingerprinting notice. The IIO will give you the WAC number.
If you do not have the receipt please call your attorney and ask him to give you the copy of the receipt.
