My brother filed a Petition on my behalf in April 1992. From the Visa Bulletin, I understand that Sep 1991 petitions are currently being processed. Since my case is coming up for processing pretty soon, I will appreciate clarification on the following issues:
1. How will I be informed when my date comes up for processing?
2. Since I am not currently in the address (or even country) listed in my petition papers, how should I inform immigration regarding change of address (the INS site only has a change of address form which is meant for individuals already in the US - I am not in the US).
3. Is it advisable to go to my country of citizenship to pick up the visas or should I get it transferred to my current country of residence? How would I do this?
4. Do members of my family (spouse & minor children) have to pick up the visas with me or can they do it later?
