hi i have read all the posts here people have recommended that if a us citezen apply for brother or sister for immigration it takes 12-14 years but processing time at us immigration site says they are handling 2008 dec cases in vermont centre am confused my brother wanna apply for me please kindly guide why is there processing time so short thank you

The processing times stated are merely for approval of the visa petition. Once the visa petition is approved, one must then wait for a visa to become available, which for FB4 takes 12-14 years.
