I had a traditional/religious marriage on jan 2008 and my wife got her green card on feb 2008 and we married on the court on feb 2008 after she got the GC. Instead of register our traditional/religious marriage, we did the court marriage. She filed a I-130 for me on Nov 2008(last month) using the marriage certificate. How Can I change my marriage date in the marriage certificate and how to prove the marriage happened in jan 2008. Is there anyway I can show the video and get notary letters from the friends who attend my marriage. could you please help me on that.

Can I know what's ur status?
I have more or less some problem with u, I am the GC holder, I want to apply for my husband but afraid that he will face a removal proceeding. We married on June 2007

I don't thinkwhat you are trying to do is possible. If the 1st marriage was valid, then you did not need the second marriage. Unless you claim to be married twice without divorce in-between, which is POLYGAMY with the same person ......

I would stay away from complicating what USCIS has simplified for you.

Polygamy with the same person is an oxymoron - there's no prohibition against marrying the same person more than once, only the earliest LEGAL marriage would have legal validity. It's only when you marry someone while being legally married to someone else that you have problems.

The OP has a huge problem - the second marriage puts him into FB2A territory with its 5-7 year wait, versus FTJ. I'd question whether the first marriage had legal validity. If not, then as far as USCIS is concerned it never happened.
