FACT ABOUT FP (Ignorant IIOs).

The FBI electronically sends fingerprint results to a Centralized
database. The IIO's (typically) does not have access to that
information. Once the application comes up for adjudication that
adjudicating officer will retrieve the results from the centralized
database.

So, IIO don't have access, hence, No FP results recieved.

FP-result received

I have the same question:
How come then the AVM plays the message, "On Aug xx., after receiving your FP-result, the processing has resumed on your case.....".

This message plays just after 4/5 days one does the Finger Printing at the local ASC. And adjudication of cases happen long after one does the FP.

thanks

Thank you, grassisgreen
According to my case, I called up IIO this morning. She told me to hang on seconds and went somewhere else. After a while she told me that she checked two sources and found no records. Does that means she checked thru the centralized source?

Anyway, I will call FBI and fax the inquiry to INS simutaneously.

IIOs never update the AVM. AVMs are updated by other people (who does have access to the Database). IIOs are like telephone operators.
