F2 to F1. My husband applied for H1b while on F1

Dear Friends,
My wife is changing from F2 to F1 VISA in India(Chennai). she has full funding support. I am currently holding valid F1 visa in USA and applied for H1B approval (status: recieved and pending). My question is:

a) what are her chances of getting F1 visa in India
b) will she effected as i applied for H1B approval
c) how can she defend herself in trying to explain that we dont have the intent of immigration (as i had applied for H1B)
d) Does she need to tell the consalate people that i had applied for H1B approval......becos i will be on F1 visa till oct 1st, 2007.

plz help me out guys.

First of all you dont need to leave the country to get the stamping done incase your visa status is changed. Unless you want to go visit, that's a different story.

In your case if they're statisfied with her case, she'd get her f1 stamping.
