F2 rejected. pls help.

Hi!

My husband is dng phd in US. He has got full tution fee waiver with TA of 15000$ per year. My F2 got rejected today under 212(A)(4). Because i was not not able to show the required financial documents. Can anyone please tell wat are de sufficient documents?
They gave me a form stating that i can submit de relevant doc. wat should i do now? should i mail my documents or fix an new appoinment?
Can any of my relatives sponser for my expenses during my stay?

In case if i get admission in de same university, can i directly apply for F1? Which is better F1 or F2?

yes, they can.

You should show the financial docs about your husband's assistanship and that it will be sufficient for your life in that city. Get a letter from your international office.

you will have to apply for F-1. You cannot study at the uni on F-2.

J1 to F1

Thank you guys for you valuable comments. I am at the end of my one-year J1 program, back home in august with my I-20, and back US on F1 visa. LucyMo, can you give some recommendations on the embassy passage from J1 to F1. What is proof of non-intent to immigrate? I have 212E, but should not be a problem to get F1. Any recommendations for a good apllication in he embassy? Thank you all.
