F1 Visa to OPT

I am a student with F1 Visa, if I get OPT, then what is my Visa status going to be?

With the OPT, am I still going to have F1 Visa student or H1B, or something else?

After getting my OPT what kind of Visa I should fill out when looking for job? still F1 Visa?

You remain in F1 status but you are authorized to work anywhere you want (EAD, work authorization).

You are on F1 and you can only work in your field of study.

i have a question, could not find the answer in the threads. What will be the best course of study to apply to get student visa without having to take GRE exam or GMAT exam. I have a college degree in my home country, can I still apply to study in college in US. For college exam only SAT or TOEFL is needed. Anyone with experience in this area. All help is appreciated.

Each university has its own entrance requirements. If you are looking to enroll in a graduate program, expect to be required to take the appropriate entrance exam. If your native language is not English, expect to take the TOEFL.
