F1 Visa to AOS

I am DV2021 winner and CN is EU17XXX with two derivatives, wife and son. My CN will be current on May 2021. My son is currently studying in US with F1 visa and interview location also selected as USCIS while myself and wife will get interview in Riyadh. I submitted supporting documents and waiting for doc confirmation. My question is, should we have to do something in advance in order to AOS applying for my son ?

I hope you realize you actually have to successfully complete the process first and enter the US before your son can submit his AOS package as your derivative? I honestly would have recommended your son join you and the rest of the family in attending the interview in Riyadh. If your son is to proceed as planned, AOS process must be completed by Sept. 30th - I'm not sure you guys have enough time to complete CP, come into the US and your son files for AOS and completes his portion of the process also considering you're not yet scheduled for your own interview as a matter of fact.
