Hi,

I have received admission and I-20 admit from 3 universities.
Fairleigh Dickinson University,NJ Virginia CommonWealth University and Univisity of Pittsburg. ( Master in Microbiology)- 2years

I applied for visa for FDU, NJ. The fees shown in I20 was 28,000 p.a.
My sponsor(Dad's) liquid fund amounts to 30,000+. Additionally I have the house paper which is another 10K$.

I was rejected saying, I am using up my parents retirement funds, and possibly I will stay back in USA to earn the money. I was rejected on 214B.(intent to immigrate).

Even though my relative are ready to help me out by paying more money, my question is what should I do to convince the councellor that I am a genuine student case and not intending to migrate. Secondly they will definately question the money coming from relatives, so how should I convince them.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi

The process of getting a F1 does not only depend upon the financial background, it may also depend upon your scores in college, Your TOEFL and GRE scores and the university that you have opted. You should take the assistance of a US Immigration Lawyer who may be able to assist you in this regard. menakarajendran@gmail.com

No immigration attorney can help you to get a F1 Visa (any non immigrant visa) at the US Counsel office.(Counsel is the final authority for the decision. attorney can not influence counsel at all).

If any attorney is soliciting like this ( No US bar counsil member attorney will do that), is not a real attorney and looking for your easy money.

Please be careful there are lot of unscrupulus people soliciting in this forum itself that they can get you visa by providing e-mail address. This barefoot attoreny will not help you and suck your money easily. Do not get trapped.

If you really want legal opinion go to reputed attorney, get phone appointment, pay fees.(But they never promise you to get the visa, but they guide you properly)
