F1 Visa Question

does anyone happen to know the approz time that a F1 visa will be approved when you apply for it abroad. under the circumstances that the college you wish to go to already accepted you and gave you the forms that you fill out for an international student? (if it matters, i'm in high school and am not the kind of student that is going to graduate school, thus not needing to take the TOEFL, i think they would only need my SAT scores.)

are you in F-1 status now while in high school? If yes, then you probably don't need to leave the US in order to continue being in F-1 status for your college. Do discuss it with your INternational Advisor at school. Unless you want to travel abroad in the summer, of course.

no im not on a F1 rite now. i came here with a B1 but i just stayed to go to school. im planning on going back to get a F1 w/o immigration knowing of course so i can go to the school of my choice.
