F1 Visa if I already own a company in India

Hi,

Is it fine to pursue MBA in the US, with F1 visa, while you own a business in India? Will owning a company in India cause any issues during the Visa processing time?

It's fine to apply for a F-1 visa.
Owning a company in your mother country shows you have strong ties with your country.

Thanks for the reply. I heard that one cannot start their own business while on F1 visa in the US. However, because it has already been started and that too in a different country, this scenario is different and is allowed? Also, what if the company is an internet company?
