I am a student who came in this fall on F1 as a full time student, my sons visa was rejected on grounds of "No intention to return".
The first time when they had gone, the embassy requested more documentation (did not accept bank's web statement) and due supporting that their father expired recently. Though I have shown that I am on study leave from my job back in my country.
After getting all the papers from bank and also from the program director, the kids' visa was rejected mentioning they don't have anything to come back to their country.
Can this be challenged or petitioned here in US after the visa has been rejected because the kids are under 16 years and I have a course for 2 years in the university. The kids cannot stay for long anywhere else.
If I have been issued an F1 visa and have shown sufficent funds in my bank I would have thought the visa should be issued. I don't know why the visa has been rejected.
Has anyone heard of dependant visa for F1 students been rejected commonly and do they ever get it?
