F1 Visa Help

I had J1 visa , applied to change status in December 2006 to F1
At the end of January i applied for waiver which was approved 25th April .
I am only curious how long does it take for the actual F1 visa to be approved
Also are they gonna ask me again about financial situation .
Please comment if you have a similar case or have knowledge about it
According to the timetable on USCIS website they working on cases filed around my time

Certainly you'd be notified once the decision has been made about your F1 status.

As for the fiancial situation you might have already submitted it to the university while aplying , right ? so no worries, if this was the case.

priority date for I-539 is february 12th , my application was sent mid december 2006 ..

is this normal

Hi,
I have applied for COS H4 to F1. The receive date of my application is Feb 14th, even I haven't received an approval from them yet. Did you try calling uscis ?
