F1 visa for spouse on I-485

I have a question about F1- visa. I am about to file for I-140/I-485 for my spouse and myself.

But my spouse intends to join college and do her Masters degree. Would she have to take an F1-visa to complete it ?

Is she allowed to do that without jeopordising her green card application ?

Should not be in F1

But apply for EAD (and AP) along with I485. She can use EAD to join a college (along with i485 receipt).
A I485 adjustee cannot be in B or F visas which require non immigrant intentions.
 
Thanks Jaxen. Cant she just study in H4 status. Isnt she allowed to do that. We dont want to risk using an EAD in I-485 stage.
 
If it is just for studying she can do that on H4,the change of status to F1 is required only to work ,but as in ur case she will be getting a EAD ,she can use EAD for working which will make ur H1 status also to AOS .

If is is just studying u are fine with h4 .My wife has already completed her 1 semester on h 4 .
