Hello, please could you help me. I am explaining my status below.
I am in the UK since the past 3 years in Work Permit. I am working on a project that will end in July. I am going to do my MBA from the US in August 2007. I am taking my wife and kid to the US. My parents are in India and I work for an Indian company, who has deputed me to the UK. My only ties are family ties. Moreover my company has agreed to give me a study leave but I need to go back and apply for it from India.
Where shall I apply from? London or do I need to go back to India to apply? If I apply in London, then I dont need to abandon the project and I shall be earning in pounds which will help me in finances.
I have no brother sister uncle aunt etc in the US.
I shall definitely look for a H1 job in the US, but I have no reservarions in returning back to India.
London (Strong Points)
1> I20 sent in UK address
2> GMAT in UK address
3> Place of last residence is UK
London (Weak points - IMO)
1> Baby born in the UK
2> I have documents(photocopies) of all my NSCs, PPFs, LIC etc and a plan of my house (which is in my father's name)- difficulty in verifying
India( Strong Points)
1> I shall get the Study leave letter (Which I am strongly against to take becoz of the bond)
India (Weak Points)
"Why haven't you appplied in London?"
Please could you help me to decide? (Based on the evidence I have in hand)
