F1 to H4

Hello all
My wife is currently on F1 (on OPT for another 8 months). I am on H1B. Is it possible for her to convert into H4 visa while still in united states? I mean, without leaving USA?
if so, will that be issued as multiple entry visa?
what is the procedure to convert from F1 to H4 while living still in USA?

--- I think your wife can be on H4 she has to file for change of status from F1 to H4, she has to fill up form I-539 and attach her valid I-94 and your H1 approval copy and copy of your I-94 and BCIS fee $ 140, the BCIS will canger her status to H4 and she will get H4 approval notice
if so, will that be issued as multiple entry visa?
---- BCIS does not issue Visa on the passport they may issue her new extended I-94 till the time your H1b approval is valid and with the I-94 she can stay till the validity of I-94 in US, she can get H4 visa in her passport when she visits home country.
What is the procedure to convert from F1 to H4 while living still in USA?
