I am an F1 student currently enrolled in spring 2007 semester.I am expecting to graduate in by dec2007. I have a job and the employer is willing to file for my H1 this april. So if he files and it gets approved the start date will be from oct1st. But my fall2007 semester will be starting fom sep 7th 2007. So If i enroll for my classes i should pay the fee. If not will i will be out of status for that 23 days from sep7th to oct 1st? Is there any way i can stay in status for that timem period.? And also can i continue my studies parttime on H1b Visa?

No i am not applying for opt or cpt. I initially thought of applying a pre completion opt from Jun until till the end of dec2007 by taking a semester break for 8 months so that once i wil be in status through out. But my advisor says you can only work on opt in holidays and you cannot take a semester break and work. So thats ruled out.
I need not graduate in order to get the H1 approval.I can still apply for that based on my bachelors degree.
The only problem i have is my spring 2007 semster ends in mid may and fall2007 semester starts on sep 7th. But if my h1 is approved i can only start working from oct1st. Since my semester is starting from sep7th i have to enroll to be in status or else i am out of status from sep7th . So how can i maintain my status for these 23 days gap?
