Hello:
I worked in the US earlier on an H1-B and am not sure whether it was cancelled by my company or not. Is it possible to find out?
More importantly, I am currently on a F1 visa (masters program) and will finish school this spring. Due to an unfinished project it is possible that I may not get my degree though until several months later. I have an offer from a company to begin work in the fall. From what I understand, the attorney will then have to file for an H1B based on my previous work experience and bachelors degree.
Does anyone anticipate any problems with this? Will the INS want to know that if I was on a F1 visa, then how come the attorney has not listed the masters degree in the application. Can that lead to INS not approving the petition?
