I am doing M. S in Biology. I got residency and i am changing status to H1. I am going to india to get th h1 stamped. do you think that it is a problem to get h1 stamped in Mumbai? i have confirmed that its a dropbox and should be straightforward. I have another worry...i am in the field of biology and on the visa form there is a colomn that asks whether you have any skills in areas of nuclear, biological and chemical fields. Since i am in biology do you think that its risky for me to get h1 stamped in india?

I doubt it should be a problem... you have a hospital sponsor for your H1 (residency), you are not going to be working in a sensitive field such as growing anthrax and stuff!!! So it should be straight forward... Wish you luck. Make sure you take all your documents (Labor/Contract etc...)
