F1 to H1-B

Hi all,
My F1 expired in June 2007, but my I-20 is valid till 2011 (Phd). I am planning to go to India to get my H1-B stamped in september. It has been approved from October 2007 (Masters quota). I wanted to know it there are any problem in doing so.
Also, the vfs website says I need a DS 156 and DS 157 forms. What is it and what is it required for?

You need to submit DS-156 and 157 when you obtain the stamp. You should have done this process when you got F visa(you might not be required DS-157 at that time, but now all needs to file DS-157 too).
