F1 to Green Card

Hi,

As a student on OPT, can I file for I-140/485 concurrently ?
If you are on F-1 status, are you allowed to change to an immigrant status from that of a non-immigrant one ?

F1 OPT has a 1-year limit, so most likely you'll have to change your status anyway - to J1, or H1B. The latter is a more sensible choice.
