I will be submitting all the relevant documents this month (September 2010) and would really appreciate everyone's opinion on whether I've missed out on any important information. I'm just graduated in July and now on my OPT(valid till May 2011), I just got married to a U.S Citizen in August of 2010. Here is a list of documents I am about to file.

1. Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) will be filed by my husband
2. Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) will also be filed by my husband
Or do I have to fill out I864 instead?
3. Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status) will be filed by me
4. Form I-693 (Medical Examination and Vaccination Records) will be filed by me
5. Form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) will be filed by me - NOT NEEDED? I864?
6. Form G-325 A (Biographic Information) for my husband
7. Form G-325 A (Biographic Information) for me

Supporting documents include:
1. Passport Copies (Both my husband's and mine)
2. Copies of Birth certificates (Both my husband's and mine)
3. Passport Photos (Both my husband's and mine)
4. Bank Account information (with both our names on it)
5. Certified marriage certificate.
6. My husband's Tax Returns and W2s (past 2 years)
7. My husband's pay stubs and a letter from his employer (??)
8. Wedding pics and other family photos.
9. A letter proclaiming the marriage.

Do I need anything else?
Please advice!!

I-864, not I-134.
765 is not needed - But you could get it for free if you want to work while your GC is pending
Are you sending the OFFICIAL IRS tax transcript? If yes, no need for W2. Tax transcript is highly recommended instead of copy of 1040.
If your husband's last year income (as reported in the 1040) is sufficient, and he has sufficient income now, no need for pay stub/letter - although it won't hurt to include them.
You should also apply for Advance Parole - I-131 (free), just in case something emergency comes up and you need to travel outside of US while your AOS is pending.

Newbie,

Why don't you wait till next March to file for your green card? Given how quick these adjudications are done these days, I suspect that you may NOT have sufficient evidence to proof marital cohabitation in such a short span of time. Since you are legal in the US, you don't have to worry about deportation or any other issues, a delay till next year might help you avoid the stench of marriage for the green card tag. However, you can file now and scramble for evidence which might fall short by the evaluation of the officer. I am suggesting this because we have someone (search it on this forum), who was grilled like a rhino patty because the evidence they produced was too thin, and the officer smelled fraud 10 blocks out. Remember this, appearing in love and we love each other won't cut it with some IO, and can give you a hard time. Just my own opinion...

Newbie, and everyone

We are on the same boat. I stay in US for 10 years, and just continue my ph.d degree. Can you believe that I can't find any good girl for 10 years? poor for me. One day, I am on vacation and I met my wife and love her at the beginning. I don't want to lose her. We are married after 3 months. This is America. Since you love him and he loves you, that is fine. Nothing to be worried about. For the evidence, you should have photos of your wedding with family or friends, same address, car insurance, bank account, life insurance, car lease or room lease, or something to prove that you are in pregnant. I don't know if it helps. Good luck to you.

Quick question,
I am taking my husband's last name, In fact I just gotten and Identification Card with his last name. However I will not be changing my passport etc until later. Is this OK or should I wait to change my last name?
Thanks again for all the input!
