F1 Status --- Pls respond

Dear All,

I have completed the required number of courses for my master's program in Dec 2004. However since I am a non-thesis student, I am supposed to give a exit exam, which i have not given yet. I am planning to give the exit exam this Spring (May 2005).

My question -> Am I still in F1 status. Is there any issue that i should be aware of.

Your response/hints/suggestion in this issue is highly appreciated.

Yes, you are still in F-1 status. However, you'd better speak to your International office about not enrolling for Spring Semester. In my school we have to enroll for Exam Only option.
 
Thanks for your prompt response....I have registerd for 2 course, which is 6 credit hours....as required for a Research assistant this spring.
