Hey

I am currently in the States and plan to go to India next week.However my visa expires in July and I have to get it renewed in Chennai consulate. Was wondering whether whether there are any chances of it getting rejected ?

I have a letter from my college stating that I need 6 more months to finish my course. Will this suffice?

simply return before your visa expires. You don't have to get a new one, if the current one is a multiple entry.
