I will be on OPT till Decmber 2011. I want to bring my wife on F2 visa in may and at the same I am applying my H1b visa in may. Will it be a problem if I bring my wife on F2 while H1b is in processing.
Processing time for F-2 visa is quick so she can enter on F-2 visa(Most cases its 1 business day). When you apply for H1-B visa your wife petition for H4 should be applied along with your H1 petition or at least before your H1 was approved. Because F-2 is valid till your F-1 is valid. So if you H1 petition is approved and your wife will be out of status, until her H4 is approved.
